An Afternoon at the Draw

Saturday felt like old Austin in the best way.

By the time doors opened at 3:00 p.m. at the YETI Flagship Store on South Congress, the line had already started to curl down the sidewalk. We were glad to see first-timers alongside folks who’ve been riding with us since the early Luck days.

La Pulga, Willie’s Remedy, and White Claw were out with us. Liquid Death and Rambler kept everyone hydrated. The folks at Nomad kept everyone fed with their incredible live-fired sausage. It felt a lot like a backyard gathering that just happened to have some very coveted tickets on the line.

And then there was Joshua Ray Walker.
He was joy to work with from the jump and already has us counting down to seeing him out at Luck.

We got to see lots of our longtime fans hit the instant-win golden tickets… watching that happen never gets old.

We’re eternally grateful for the folks who believe in this thing year after year. Thank you for taking off work early, driving in from out of town, and standing in line with friends just for a shot. Your enthusiasm for great live music is what keeps this wheel spinning.

And to those who lucked out –
We’ll see you in a month.
